Governments play essential role in regulating the developments and usage of artificial intelligence. Lacking necessary AI policies, the technology might be misused and backfire in increasing inequality, rise of totalitarian powers, supporting racism biases, etc. But if our politicians have no clue in how the technology works, how are they going to be implemented? This is exactly what The Future Society is about. The “think-and-do-tank” has an extraordinary mission: Advancing the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies for the benefit of humanity.
